A project: Custom hat for The Avett Brothers

The Avett Brothers wanted to re-create a vintage trucker hat with stripe accents that wasn't made of cheap foam.  The hat features a sewn-on patch with imagery from their current album The Carpenter.  The manufacturer took too long but we like the results.

A project: Beck sunglasses for Oliver Peoples

We were contacted by the company that manufactures Oliver Peoples sunglasses to facilitate a collaboration between Beck Hansen and Oliver Peoples, to design and produce a pair of sunglasses for Asian market.  These glasses are a marvel of modern manufacturing.  Oliver Peoples and Beck spent almost two years working on the frames. “Using a vintage pattern from Italy as a base, custom-made material was produced that appears as clear stripes from the front, while appearing pink or yellow from the sides.”  The case was designed by Beck and Porter Bag company, of Japan.
